After a year or two, the phone is already outdated and your employees receive a new one. At Holland Recycling, you can securely dispose of your phones.
Destruction of phones
We can destroy your phones at Holland Recycling. Holland Recycling uses a shredder that shreds the phones into small pieces. The shredded pieces are further processed by us into secondary raw materials. You receive a certificate of destruction from us, possibly supplemented by the serial numbers and/or IMEI numbers of the phones. This means that you can be sure that no sensitive (business) information will end up in the wrong hands.
How does it work?
The destruction of phones happens in 4 simple steps:
- Smartphones are registered (if possible).
- Batteries are removed.
- Phones are shredded.
- You receive a destruction certificate.
Wiping phones
Phone wiping is also possible. Holland Recycling does this using certified software from Certus Erasure. After the wiping process, you receive a wiping report from us. Phones that cannot be wiped using software can still be destroyed by Holland Recycling by means of shredding. The great advantage of wiping over shredding is that the phones can still be sold and therefore have a residual value. Reuse contributes to the circular economy. The value of the phone is determined by the brand, model, specifications and external condition.
The phones are wiped in 3 simple steps:
- Phones are wiped using certified software.
- You receive a report on the wiped phones.
- You receive a pre-agreed payment for each phone.

By allowing Holland Recycling to destroy your business phones, you are assured of an easy process. We take everything off your hands. We use our own transport, so we can also pack loose equipment at your location in our own packaging. In addition to data destruction, we can also provide in-house recycling and refurbishment.
