Through Holland Recycling’s IT donation programme, you give your decommissioned equipment a second life while making a positive difference at the same time. We determine the residual value of your hardware, arrange secure pickup, and pay out the proceeds to the charity of your choice.

Whether it’s laptops, servers, phones or monitors: any equipment with a residual value can be used for a charity. You decide which organisation to support: local, national or international. We handle the entire process, from pickup to certification.

What is IT donation?

Through our IT donation programme, you turn decommissioned hardware into a concrete contribution for your chosen organisation. Laptops, monitors, routers, tablets or phones may seem worthless, but often still hold a residual value that you can donate fully or partially.

You decide how much you donate. Holland Recycling takes care of the valuation, pickup, processing and payout. You receive an invoice and an environmental certificate as proof of responsible processing.

Of course, all data on your equipment is securely and certifiably removed before it proceeds into the donation programme. This way, your organisation is fully compliant with applicable privacy legislation, and you have written proof of this. IT donation is therefore not only socially responsible, but also arranged in a practical and hassle-free way.

When signing up, you indicate your preference: a local foundation, a nationally recognised charity, or an international organisation. We handle the donation directly and provide transparent reporting, so you know exactly what happened with your contribution.

What IT equipment can I donate?

Holland Recycling accepts virtually all types of electronics. Think of old circuit boards, computers, laptops, phones, smartphones, monitors, hard drives, servers, tapes and other IT-related data carriers. We also take all peripherals, such as cables and accessories, off your hands right away. We do not accept cooling or freezer appliances or related products. Feel free to send us a message to check whether we can accept your business IT equipment.

Can I also donate only part of the value of my hardware?

Yes, you can indicate yourself how much you want to donate. Any contribution is more than welcome.

Can I see my donation reflected somewhere?

For every donor, we track what was done with the proceeds and report on this transparently. You receive an overview of your contribution afterwards. If you wish to donate anonymously, we can arrange that for you too.
