At Holland Recycling, everything revolves around green thinking and sustainable action. This year, we proudly celebrate our 12.5-year anniversary in the world of electronics recycling. This journey has inspired and challenged us, and we’d love to share our achievements and dedication with you.
The beginning of Holland Recycling
Looking back on our modest start in 2010, we still fondly remember the passion and belief in sustainability that drove us. Holland Recycling was founded with a vision: reducing waste, preserving raw materials, and lowering our ecological footprint. Our core business consisted of collecting and processing ferrous, non-ferrous metals, and electronics. We soon shifted our focus to electronics recycling.
12.5 years of Corporate Social Responsibility
The way Holland Recycling embraced employees with a distance to the labour market was rewarded in 2017 with the first-ever CSR award from Noordoost-Brabant. Over the past 12.5 years, Holland Recycling has continued to focus on product and raw material preservation. Holland Recycling Re-Use was founded 8 years ago with the goal of rescuing as much IT hardware as possible from the shredder. 3 years ago, Holland Circulair was “born”. Holland Circulair focuses on collecting discarded large white goods from Dutch retailers. The white goods are then refurbished according to the highest standards and find their way to numerous thrift stores across the Netherlands.
Vision for the future
Of course, we don’t just look to the past — our focus is on the future. Continuing to innovate and collaborate to further promote sustainability. As the global volume of discarded electronics keeps increasing, Holland Recycling will continue to invest further in mechanical processing. As a result, we expect to keep growing in the coming years without compromising the quality of our output.
Festive anniversary celebration
Naturally, we celebrated this 12.5-year anniversary with two wonderful evening parties together with our customers, suppliers, partners, and employees. Our success would not have been possible without their support and cooperation.
