Holland Recycling is taking a major step forward with the acquisition of a new premises, where all refurbishment activities will take place. This strategic move marks the beginning of a new chapter for the company and its subsidiaries, ‘Holland Recycling Re-use’ and ‘Holland Circulair’. The new premises will be “christened” the ‘Dutch Re-Use Centre’.
Holland Circulair takes a prominent position within the ‘Dutch Re-Use Centre’
After a complete transformation, the new premises will serve as the beating heart of Holland Circulair, where white goods — mainly washing machines and dryers — will be refurbished. The focus here will be on testing, repairing, and renewing these appliances, giving them a second life and contributing to a circular economy. The premises will be equipped with the most modern facilities, enabling a doubling of the number of appliances that can be refurbished compared to the current situation. The current Holland Circulair location will, incidentally, remain in use as a collection and sorting site.
Expansion with Holland Recycling Re-use
In addition, Holland Recycling Re-use will move into the same premises, where it will focus on the refurbishment of IT hardware. This covers a wide range of devices, from computers, laptops, servers, and components, which are put back on the market after careful inspection, upgrading, and, where necessary, repair. A special, secure area will be created for wiping and/or destroying data carriers. For “Holland Recycling Re-use”, this means further growth can be achieved.
